Title: Joy
Sermon in a Sentence: We can always find joy, even in times of sadness.
The Word: Philippians 1:12-24
Summary: Happiness is conditional, whereas joy is not. Even though Paul is in jail, he is able to rejoice. We go through some pretty crummy times in life, hopefully not so terrible as jail, but we should be able to have joy not matter what life throws at us. We can acquire joy in our relationship with God. Don't be dicouraged if you do not feel joy in rough times, that is completely normal. In fact, it is rare to find a person who is truly joyful in all situations, but it is something we should all strive for.
